Ed Foteh, George Zaibaq and Gus Zaibaq, three cousins whose ancestors date back to the Holy Land wanted to share their old family recipe with the world. Their family falafel recipe has been passed down from generation to generation on to the new world. Sido Foteh (“Grandfather” Foteh) first immigrated to Texas in 1909. The family grew, flourished, and developed deep roots in Houston.
Today, our family-old falafel recipe is being freshly made in our production facility in Houston, Texas from wholesome non-GMO garbanzo beans, hand-selected vegetables, and spices. Our falafel is 100% natural, pure vegan, gluten free, soy free, grain free, kosher and has no preservatives or additives. An excellent source of plant-based protein full of flavor, Olive Valley Falafel is nothing short of plain goodness. Our entire ingredient list includes garbanzo beans, onions, roasted garlic, parsley, peppers, and spices.
